First CORONA case in MYSURU reported

Department of Microbiology , MMC & RI , Mysore examined and declared about the first case of COVID-19 in heritage city Mysuru.

The person has returned from Dubai yesterday morning ( 20th march)First landed at Kempegowda International Airport, Banglore.From there he has taken a taxi from Banglore to Mysore.Also he has informed that he had stopped at a tea shop in Mandya.Then he got the symptoms and was straight away taken to KR Hospital where he is now isolated.Abhiram G Shankar , District Collector, Mysore also said that there is no need to panic.News channels have reported that the problem is being analysed and care is taken in a right direction to control the spread.
